Orcas soccer team finishes second in state

Upper Columbia Academy defeated Orcas Island 2-0 in the Class 1B/2B Boys State Soccer Final at Federal Way Memorial Stadium Saturday, Nov. 18. 

The Lions (13-2-0) will return to Spangle with their first state championship trophy in school history. The Vikings (12-6-0)  posted a top-two finish the past three seasons: They were the runner-up this and last year and were the champs in 2021.

Providence Classical Christian (13-5-0) of Bothell trimmed Riverside Christian (9-7-0) of Yakima 2-1 in the consolation final.
