Friday Harbor Boys Soccer beat Prescott in state quarterfinals

Friday Harbor Wolverines boys soccer team scored three penalty kicks in a shoot out to win the Class 1B/2B Boys State quarterfinals game agains  the Prescott Tigers. The fifth-seed Wolverines met the fourth-seed Tigers in the loser-out quarterfinal  Saturday, Nov. 13 at Richland High School.

Goals were scored by sophomore Alden Carli and junior Zachary Place in regular play. With the game tied 2-2, it went into overtime. After a double overtime the game was still tied 2-2, so the game proceeded to a shoot out.

Penalty kicks were made by Wolverines junior Eric Corbin, sophomore Alden Carli, and freshman Cole Curtis.

Friday Harbor Goalkeeper junior Luke Totten defended against three penalty kicks by the Tigers.

The final score was 2-2 (3-0 PKs)
