Friday Harbor surges past Orcas Island
Friday Harbor scored three runs in the fourth inning and three in the fifth to surge past Orcas Island 9-2 in Northwest 2B/1B League fastpitch softball Tuesday, April 23 at Linde Fields.
Ava Hoffman ripped a pair of singles and a triple and drove in two runs for the Wolverines. Thea Seitz, smacked a base hit and a triple and scored twice. Bailee Lambright, Darcy Ayers and Soma Andrews each singled and drove in a run. Bristol Halverson connected for two singles.
Grace Pauls only walked one batter while notching the win.
