Islanders creating new December fishing derby

A new fishing tournament is being organized in Friday Harbor since the existing Resurrection Salmon Derby is going to be held in Anacortes rather than in the islands. Jimmie Lawson and Russ Samples are putting together the new derby which will be held December 3-5, 2015. If you would like more information please email Lawson at hawgheavencharters@gmail.com

The decision to move the Resurrection Salmon Derby to Anacortes was made a vote of the Anacortes Fidalgo-San Juan Islands chapter of Puget Sound Anglers.
