Seattle Lutheran knocks Friday Harbor boys from playoffs - Feb. 18, 2017
Seattle Lutheran knocked Friday harbor boys basketball team from the Class 2B playoffs with a 64-42 victory Saturday, Feb.18, 2017 at Sedro-Woolley High School. The Saints, who drilled 10 three-pointers to the Wolverines' two, finish second in the District 1/2 Tournament and advance to the state tournament.
John Gustafson led the Wolverines with 16 points. Friday Harbor’s other scorers were: Joe Stewart 7, Eli Cooper-West 6, Isaac Mayer 6, Andy Stromberg 3, Simon Vincent 2 and Marshall Clark 2.
Roberto Duenaz paced the Saints with 18. Seattle Lutheran’s other scorers were: Josh Meyer 14, Isaiah Dowding-Albrecht 11, Joe Meehan 10, Grant Ball 6, Simon Solomon 3, Brandon Lick 2 and Andrew Kuhn 1.
