With the game tied 1-1 at the end of regulation time, two five-minute overtimes were called. No one scored, so the game went into a shoot-out. Anderson-Cleveland, William Ibarra, Diego Largo, and Pedro Guerra scored. Viking goalie Paxton White blocked one of the Highlanders shots and another went wide as Orcas beat Providence and won the State Championship.

The Vikings and the Highlanders were scoreless after regulation and two overtime periods but Orcas outshot Providence 7-6 in the shootout.

The Vikings beat their inter-island rival the Friday Harbor Wolverines 2-0 in the semi-final game on Friday, November 19 to make it to the championship round. Kevin Garcia and Romero Lago scored the Viking goals.
