"Brian is dealing with a health issue," said assistant coach Kirk Holt. "We don't know when he's going to be back. We're taking it week by week at this time. He is going to be missed."

Lambright's pitchers were well prepared by their coach - starter Marcella Kirkland  struck out five Brave batters and Raylee Miniken fanned another five in relief.

Thea Seitz rapped four hits for the Wolverines. Bailee Lambright, Olivia Germain and Jayna Ott each drove in two runs.

Friday Harbor improves to 2-0 in Northwest 2B/1B League play and 6-4 overall.
