Hardy souls splashed and dashed January 1

Joyce Wells crossed the finish line first at Island Rec's Second Annual Resolution Run on a cold and windy New Year's Day morning, January 1, 2017.

Participants ran from Jacksons Beach to Mullis Street to Argyle Avenue and back to Jacksons Beach.

New this year was a Dip in the Salish Sea. Island Rec provided a fire and snacks.
