Memorial Day commemorated in Friday Harbor - Slideshow of parade

American Legion Post #163 led the annual Memorial Day Parade  in Friday Harbor Monday, May 30, 2022. After marching down Spring Street past the empty space where historic buildings had stood, the marchers stopped at Memorial Park. A ceremony honoring those who died for their country was held. At the end of the ceremony, flowers were thrown into the bay in honor of those lost at sea.
