Full Moon in Scorpio and Sun in Taurus Form T-Square With Pluto in Aquarius on Tuesday; Mercury Stations Direct on Wednesday, Fully Direct on Friday, Neptune in Pisces Sextile Pluto in Aquarius

First, the afflicted Full Moon. The Scorpio Full Moon is astrologically the most powerful Full Moon of the year due to its intensity and reputation of shining a light in the bat cave. This Full Moon will be “afflicted” (part of a disharmonious alignment). Opposing the Sun, the Full Moon and Sun both form a 90 degree angle to Pluto, forming a T-Square. This is a power packed alignment not to be taken lightly. Pluto’s transformative powers are at work and Scorpio’s urge to go deep without fear may take us beyond our comfort zone. We need to be extra kind to each other on Tuesday.

On Wednesday, Mercury stations direct (comes to a standstill) then goes fully direct on Friday. Yay! This one has been rough for many.

Finally, we have Neptune in the very late degrees of Pisces forming a lovely alignment to Pluto, which encourages deep reflection and self-examination. This alignment will be with us for a while, since Neptune moves so slowly. It is more of a societal thing as well; transformation is at hand though since it involves Pluto, we won’t see it until it’s already happened. We will be aware of the forces at hand, though. And yes it’s societal, and we are part of society so it affects us as well. It will be exciting to see how things play out.

Keep looking up, stay healthy, and…

Keep looking after each other.

Aries (March 21- April 19): Tuesday’s Full Moon in Scorpio packs a punch because it will be “afflicted,” in a touch alignment to Pluto, as will be the Sun. This affects your sectors of Finances/Resources, Friends/Goals and Partnership. It may catapult you right into a new situation that you weren’t expecting, which falls into the domain of the Jupiter/Uranus conjunction which has reached its peak and is still going strong in Taurus. On Wednesday, Mercury stations direct, coming out of retrograde and will be fully direct on Friday in your sign. In the meantime, Neptune in Pisces forms a lovely alignment to Pluto that opens the way to you to do some serious self-examination.

Who is Triana?

Triana is a professional astrologer and amateur astronomer who has had a lifelong love for the stars and planets, mythology, philosophy and science.

Due to her mother’s interest in astrology and metaphysics, Triana had access to a large library growing up and cut her teeth on Aesop’s Fables, a set of the Classics that her grandfather gave her and Greek mythology. By the time she was in the 6th grade she was playing with astrology and reading charts for her friends at school.

Upon completing her university studies in biochemistry, Triana relocated to the United Kingdom in 1988 and began to study the patterns of the stars recorded in the landscape of Great Britain in the form of stone monuments. Using survey maps and a compass, Triana made her way from the islands of Scotland down to Cornwall and made good use of British astrology books and astrological groups and congresses led by the top astrologers of the 20th century. By the time she was 35, Triana’s own style of interpreting the angles and aspects of the planets began to emerge. She began to receive serious attention in the UK for her astrological prowess and she flourished.

In 1996 Triana found success in writing weekly horoscopes through a small newspaper on Lopez Island, WA. Fairly quickly her name spread and her clientele increased, enabling her to travel to different places in Washington State to give presentations and conduct personal readings. Her clientele spanned from the UK to Canada as well as the United States. Visitors came to Lopez Island from afar as she herself became a destination in the islands.

Triana has been featured on television, radio and in newspapers in the United States, Canada, Mexico and the UK.

Her weekly column can be found on sanjuanislander.com and she can be reached at triana.elan@gmail.com.
