San Juan Island Library is partnering with the San Juan Island National Historical Park to bring you Nature’s Mysteries: a four-part topical program focused on your national park.
In this final installment, we’ll be taking a closer look at the indispensable workforce that is pollinators. Without the actions of pollinators, agricultural economies, our food supply, and surrounding landscapes would collapse. Yet even with this knowledge communities of pollinators across the globe are under stress, and society is struggling to intervene. Join us as we take a close look at bees and other pollinators, how they work, and their importance in the fragile web of life.
This is a hybrid event happening on Thursday, September 28th at 7:00 PM; join us in person at the Library or on Zoom. If you wish to attend online, please register using the Library’s online events calendar at www.sjlib.org, or contact Frankie Thomas at email@example.com.
