Oswald set to compete in "Race to Alaska"

Nigel Oswald and Brandon Davis are busy designing and building the TP24, a 24-ft carbon nomex catamaran to compete in the "Race to Alaska". Competitors must use self powered vessels, with no motor of any type, no crew, and no ground support along the way.

The catamaran is 10-ft wide with a cuddy cabin.

Davis is the owner of Turn Point Design in Port Townsend and Oswald is an avid sailor and racer from Friday Harbor.
