2 bodies found in San Juan Islands; no confirmation if they are missing kayakers


Update: a second body was recovered at 6:30 am Tuesday, April 23 floating in Middle Channel between Lopez and San Juan Islands according to the RCMP.

According to the Canadian Press,  "U.S. authorities searching for missing B.C. kayakers have found a body: RCMP", a body has been found in the San Juan Islands that may be one of the missing kayakers. No identification has been made yet.

Monday, Sheriff's personnel went to Granny's Cove on the west side of San Juan Island after receiving a tip.

The two men left D'Arcy's Island BC at 2:15 pm Saturday and haven't been seen since.
