Coast Guard Update: Divers on scene assessing possible defueling of sunken fishing boat

Morning Update:  Unified Command crews continued monitoring the spill throughout the evening. A Coast Guard operated drone is planning to launch later this morning to collect additional imagery. As a reminder there is a 1,000 yard safety zone around all responding dive boats.

A tank to house the offloaded fuel is already on scene! We'll post updates as dive work continues. Members of the Coast Guard's Pacific Strike Team are now in the area to assist local responders. The Unified Command is using a variety of assets to respond to this incident.
