Noel Monin concedes his Town Council race to Geffen

Richard Geffen will be one of the Town of Friday Harbor council members. Incumbent Noel Monin announced he was conceding the race to Geffen at the recent joint Town and County Council meeting.

Monin is the Assistant Chief and Training Officer for San Juan Island Fire and Rescue Dept. He was appointed 14 years ago in 2009 to the Friday Harbor Town Council fill a vacancy. 

Incumbent Town Council members Steve Hushebeck and Barbara Starr are both running unopposed. The other two Town Council members are Mason Turnage and Anna Maria de Freitas.

The general election is November 7. Ballots will be mailed on October 17.
